 When you grow up as the daughter of America’s Most Trusted Horseman, you’re bound to pick a few things up along the way.  That’s exactly what Brandi Lyons did, as she, too, followed in her father’s footsteps as a horse trainer and clinician.  Add to that Brandi’s feminine touch and extra understanding of women, and you have her own brand of horsemanship and training. 
Brandi grew up in Colorado and began traveling with her family to clinics and expo’s in the early 1990’s.  She always loved seeing people smile after they reached a goal they’d been striving for with their horses.
Brandi has traveled all over the country giving clinics and private demonstrations.  For the past four years, she has also concentrated on training horses at home, helping both horse and rider reach their full potential.  It has become clear to Brandi that people want to work with a trainer they can trust, and she is that kind of a trainer. 
“I can help women riders who are intimidated by large classes and feel more comfortable working with another woman,” Brandi says.  “I use the Lyons’ methods, but I approach horsemanship from an entirely different emotional place, one that only a woman can understand.” 
Brandi loves to help women find that little “cowgirl” hidden in all of them. 
 Brandi’s ability to inspire is not limited to only people and their horses, but to her family as well.  She takes great pride in her daughters and her students and wants to teach them that there is not a dream to big to dream.  Brandi’s hope for her students is to always believe in themselves and never the need to look back.  Her goals with people are to teach them to always strive to do better and always be able to look in the mirror and be proud.  Be proud of who they are as people and how they have helped their horse or the world around them that day.
